At the completion and official operation ceremony, Hitendra Dev Shakya, General Manager of the Nepal Electricity Authority, delivered a speech. He emphasized that the grid connection and operation of the Sanjin Kaola Hydropower Station is of great significance to Nepal. In particular, it can effectively reduce the power outage duration in industrial zones and provide more stable power support for industrial production.
Wang Xin, Chargé d'affaires ad interim of the Chinese Embassy in Nepal, said that the completion of the Sanjin Kaola hydropower project not only helps to optimize the local energy structure but also reduces electricity costs, injecting strong positive impetus into Nepal's economic development and promoting the further development of the local economy.
