According to the preliminary survey data of the project team, the average daily traffic volume of the intersection exceeded the design capacity by three times, and the congestion during the morning and evening rush hours was particularly serious, making people's daily travel miserable.

After the Bombed overpass is fully opened to traffic, this traffic "congestion" will be opened. Gong Qiaoqi, the project manager, told reporters that the overpass is composed of an upper span bridge, a ground roundabout and an underpass channel, which will simultaneously solve the three major problems of entering and exiting the city, cross-regional and airport rapid passage, and effectively alleviate traffic congestion along the line and in the surrounding areas.

According to the doctor Christophe Sanduno, the overpass is not only a road project, but also an "accelerator" for urban development. "It used to be a pain to get through the Bombed area. We'd rather take a half-hour ferry ride across the river than get stuck in traffic for two hours. After the overpass is fully opened to traffic, the travel time will be greatly reduced. ”

Mohamed Sharif Diallo, Director of the Local Employee Office of the Project Department, said that the Bombed Interchange project is very good, it is the first three-storey overpass in the history of Guinea, and "I hope that more excellent Chinese projects will be landed in Guinea in the future."
