Located east of Cairo, the capital of Egypt and next to the Gulf of Suez in the Red Sea, the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone is an important achievement of the Belt and Road Initiative between China and Egypt. After years of development, this economic and trade cooperation zone has become a model of China-Egypt economic and trade cooperation, which has not only created a large number of local employment opportunities, but also cultivated a large number of outstanding Egyptian talents.
Currently, there are about 10,000 Egyptian employees working in the park. These employees not only realized their professional dreams here, but also injected continuous impetus into Egypt's industrial development and China-Egypt economic and trade cooperation. Ahmad Radwan, CEO of TEDA Investment Company in Egypt, is one of them. He joined TEDA Cooperation Zone in November 2008 and has grown from the initial financial manager to the CEO of the company with his outstanding performance and leadership skills.
In 2013, Dina Mahmoud Hassan, who had just graduated from university, joined Jushi Egypt Fiberglass Co., Ltd. in the cooperation zone. As one of the few female employees in the company, she started as a production planner and has grown into the deputy manager of the planning and logistics department through continuous learning and hard work. Her upbringing fully demonstrates the broad development platform that the cooperation zone provides for young Egyptians.
Xidian-EGEMAC High Voltage Electric Co., Ltd., a joint venture between China XD Group and Egypt, is a model for localized talent training. More than 97% of the company's 260 employees are localized, and many Egyptians have grown into mid-level cadres and even senior executives. The growth experience of Mossad Ibrahim, the company's deputy general manager, vividly illustrates the successful practice of the company's talent localization strategy.
The development model of TEDA Cooperation Zone fully embodies the principle of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits. The development model of promoting local employment through the construction of industrial parks, improving the skills of employees through technical training, and cultivating local talents through management practices has not only promoted the industrialization process of Egypt, but also set a benchmark for China-Egypt economic and trade cooperation. The successful experience of the cooperation zone proves that industrial cooperation under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative can achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, and bring tangible development opportunities to participating countries.
the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone will continue to deepen the talent localization strategy, cultivate more outstanding Egyptian management talents and technical backbones, provide more professionals for Egypt's economic and social development, and further consolidate the achievements of China-Egypt economic and trade cooperation.(This article is from the official website of Seetao www.seetao.com.
