On May 25, KazTransOil announced on its official website that the company's management held talks with Sino-Pipeline International in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, and the two sides discussed the current and future direction of cooperation.
Arman Kassenov, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Management of KazTransOil, and Jin Qingguo, General Manager of CNPC International Pipelines, reviewed the progress of the joint project and exchanged views on matters related to the business of the Kazakh pipeline operator. The talks focused on improving the efficiency of the China-Kazakhstan crude oil pipeline and the development of infrastructure. The two sides confirmed that they will further develop the partnership on the basis of efficient and mutually beneficial benefits.
After the meeting, the two sides signed an agreement on the operation and maintenance of the Kenkiyak-Kumkol crude oil trunk pipeline by Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP.
