China's Songlin photovoltaic project is connected to the grid for power generation!

On June 8, the Songlin Photovoltaic Power Generation Project in Yongshan County, Zhaotong City, a key new energy project in Yunnan Province during the 14th Five-Year Plan, was connected to the grid for power generation, pushing the development and construction of the clean energy base in the lower reaches of the Jinsha River to a new height. After the completion of the power station, the average annual power generation can reach 190 million kilowatt hours, which is equivalent to saving 57,300 tons of standard coal.

The project is undertaken by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau and is located in Maolin Town, Wuzhai Township and Lianfeng Town, Yongshan County, with a total installed capacity of 300MW AC, using a smart grid architecture of block power generation and centralized grid connection. After the completion of the power station, the average annual power generation can reach 190 million kilowatt hours, which is equivalent to saving 57,300 tons of standard coal.

During the construction of the project, the party members of the project department took the lead in solving the problem, set up a party member commando and established a party member responsibility area, which not only overcame the difficulties of frequent extreme bad weather, scattered construction plots and large slopes, high environmental protection requirements, and high-altitude construction, but also completed the full-capacity grid-connected task ahead of schedule.

The project team also adopted new technologies and new solutions to help the construction of the project. In the process of promoting the construction of the "animal husbandry and photovoltaic complementation" mode, the buried cable of the 35KV collector line of the project adopts the innovative "reducer connection" to realize the long-distance uninterrupted transmission of the cable.
