On June 21, 2025, the bidding for the construction of the G321 Yuxian Yuchan Jiaming section of the reconstruction project was completed. China Railway Fifth Bureau Group Co., Ltd. became the first candidate for winning the bid with a bid price of 259.091686 billion yuan. Guangdong Guanyue Road and Bridge Co., Ltd. (259.655389 billion yuan) and CCCC Road and Bridge Construction Co., Ltd. (259.74139.3 billion yuan) ranked second and third respectively.

The project starts from Yuchan Street in Luxian County and ends at Tanmaoshan Tunnel at the junction of Luzhou and Neijiang, with a total length of 12.1 kilometers. It is constructed according to the standard of first-class highway, with a design speed of 60 kilometers per hour and three bridges. Among them, the roadbed width of the 4.17-kilometer section from the starting point to Fuji Town is 23 meters, and the roadbed width of the 8.108-kilometer section from Fuji Town to the endpoint is 20.5 meters, both of which are two-way four lane asphalt concrete pavements. The total investment of the project is about 680 million yuan, with a construction and installation cost of 315 million yuan. The planned construction period is 36 months, covering the construction of roadbed, pavement, bridges and culverts, and traffic safety facilities.
