Xinjiang and China Coal Xinjiang recently signed a "joint construction" agreement between the party committees, marking a new stage of institutionalization of cooperation between the two central energy enterprises. The cooperation will focus on breakthroughs in key areas such as coal-to-power pooling and new energy development, and is expected to drive more than 100 billion yuan of energy investment.
Complement each other's advantages and build a new energy system
With 21.6 billion tons of coal reserves and 23.5 million tons of annual production capacity, China Coal Xinjiang has deep roots in the field of traditional energy. Xinjiang is the largest clean energy enterprise in Xinjiang, with an installed capacity of more than 10 million kilowatts. The two sides will form a golden combination of "coal supply and new energy consumption", focusing on promoting major projects such as the integration of 13 kilowatts of wind and solar storage in Hami and the 1.5 million kilowatt photovoltaic sand control in Yutian.
Party building and co-construction lead in-depth coordination
Different from conventional business cooperation, this innovation adopts the model of party committee co-construction. Li Mingjing, secretary of the Xinjiang Party Committee of China Coal, said that it will play the role of a bridgehead connecting Central Asia; Zhang Wei, acting chairman of Xinjiang, stressed that the construction of a multi-energy complementary system will be accelerated. This "red engine" driving model has set a new paradigm for the cooperation of central enterprises in Xinjiang.
The 100 billion investment map emerges
At present, the installed capacity of the projects under construction between the two sides has reached 7.38 million kilowatts, covering coal-power integration, wind, solar and energy storage and other fields. China Coal Xinjiang is speeding up the construction of a coal clean engineering technology sub-center, and the annual power generation capacity of has exceeded 10 billion kilowatt hours. According to the plan, the two sides will jointly build a "new coal electrification" industrial chain base that radiates Central Asia, and inject new momentum into the construction of Xinjiang's "ten major industrial clusters".
This cooperation not only involves the strategic synergy between traditional energy supply and new energy development, but also includes in-depth layout such as energy technology innovation and market development in Central Asia, and may become a benchmark case for central and local cooperation to promote the high-quality development of border areas.(This article is from the official website of Seetao www.seetao.com.
