On June 30, 2025, the independent energy storage project of Zhoushan Lisiner was successfully connected to the grid and put into operation. The project has a scale of 109.5MW/219MWh and is the first grid side energy storage project in Daishan. It is also one of the new energy storage demonstration projects in Zhejiang Province during the 14th Five Year Plan period.
Under the guidance of the "14th Five Year Plan for the Development of New Energy Storage", Lisiner has promoted the implementation of the project and built a dual guarantee system of "peak shaving and valley filling+emergency power protection", providing a practical paradigm for the construction of multi-source collaboration and flexible support mechanisms in island scenarios.
Island adaptation
Daishan County is located in the northeast of Zhoushan Archipelago and is one of the 12 key island counties in China. In recent years, the installed capacity of regional wind power has grown rapidly. However, due to climate conditions such as high salt spray, high humidity, and high temperature, as well as practical constraints such as strong grid structure rigidity and small redundant space, the allocation of power system regulation resources is difficult and the operating pressure is high.
Lisiner focuses on the dual pain points of complex environment and adjustment gap, and selects the 5MWh liquid cooled containerized energy storage system C5016L5 to build a modular flexible solution to ensure long-term stable operation: the whole machine has a C5M anti-corrosion grade to resist corrosion from sea salt aerosols; -30~55 ℃ wide temperature tolerance, matching coastal seasonal demand; Vehicle grade LFP battery with multi-level fuse protection; Pack level and cabin level multi state sensing terminals for real-time monitoring, dual water and gas fire extinguishing; Multi system intelligent joint debugging, achieving millisecond level response.
The project deploys a total of 22 sets of 5MW/10MWh energy storage systems, synchronously constructing standardized array structures, forming an engineering system with rapid deployment and flexible expansion capabilities; At present, it has been connected to the 110kV main grid of Zhoushan power grid and serves as a flexible node for real-time scheduling and system support, carrying out load side power quality management and significantly improving the regional power grid's ability to withstand new energy fluctuations.
100 day delivery
Faced with unfavorable conditions such as short construction window period, complex coordination process, and tight grid connection rhythm on islands, Lisiner can achieve full process acceleration and efficiency improvement of the project through equipment prefabrication, task parallelization, and rhythm synchronization, demonstrating the delivery speed of the "star". The project took only 100 days from entry to grid connection.
The project process is coordinated across multiple lines, strictly adhering to the safety red line, controlling construction quality and duration throughout the entire cycle. It has successfully passed special evaluations such as grid performance testing and fire safety acceptance, fully demonstrating Lisiner's overall planning and execution capabilities in the field of new energy project investment and construction.
Market synergy
After calculation, the energy storage power station has an annual charging capacity of about 145.2 million kilowatt hours and a discharging capacity of about 127 million kilowatt hours. Calculated based on an average of 2000 kilowatt hours per household per year, it can meet the electricity needs of 63500 households in Zhoushan.
The project is connected to the power grid through grid integration. With the ability of second level frequency regulation and hourly level peak regulation, it can undertake tasks such as power grid peak regulation, frequency regulation, phase regulation, and emergency backup. The system platform can be integrated into the virtual power plant scheduling system in the future, further increasing revenue.
Relying on a complete control, response, and measurement system, the project has operational attributes that are callable, computable, and sustainable, making it a typical flexible resource carrier that can aggregate resources and adjust them for implementation.
System validation
The operation of the Zhoushan Lisiner independent energy storage project marks an important step forward for Daishan County in the coordinated development of "source network load storage". It not only provides a solid guarantee for the power grid to meet peak summer demand, but also creates an independent energy storage model project suitable for islands.
