Significant progress has been made in the field of transportation construction in Zhejiang Province. The G2531 Hangzhou Shangrao Expressway (Hangzhou Chunkai Expressway) Hangzhou Zhonghuan Zhejiang Jiangxi Border Project (Hangzhou section) has officially launched construction bidding, with a total investment of 45.425 billion yuan (including construction period interest), including 32.686 billion yuan in construction and installation costs. This project is an important transportation artery connecting Hangzhou City in Zhejiang Province and Shangrao City in Jiangxi Province, and is of great significance for improving the layout of the road network in the Yangtze River Delta region.

The project overview shows that the starting point of the project is located at the intersection of the under construction Central Ring Road and Jinqiao North Road in Fuyang District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It passes through Fuyang District, Tonglu County, and Chun'an County, and ends at the junction of Fenkou Town in Chun'an County and Daxi Township in Kaihua County. The total length of the main line is 171.905 kilometers (excluding the advance section of 11.237 kilometers and two high-speed railway overpasses), including a new section of 151.122 kilometers and a total section of 20.783 kilometers using the G4012 Liyang Ningde Expressway (Qianhuang Expressway).

The project construction scale is grand, with a total of 124 bridges and a total length of 58892 meters along the entire line, including 11 super major bridges and 97 major bridges; 45.5 tunnels with a total length of 46115 meters, including 4.5 extra long tunnels; There are 14 interchanges, 4 service areas, and 11 toll stations. Simultaneously constructing 7 interconnected lines with a total length of 7.505 kilometers, as well as the restoration project of elevated ground roads in the urban area of Fuyang.

This bidding is divided into 13 civil construction sections (TJ01-TJ14, of which TJ04 section has been tendered first), and the specific situation of each section is as follows:

The main works of TJ01 section (K0+000~K9+500) include roadbed excavation of 1.048 million cubic meters, one super large bridge of 4868.04 meters, and an estimated construction and installation cost of 2.438 billion yuan;

The TJ02 section (K9+500~K18+670) includes one 3440 meter long tunnel with an estimated construction and installation cost of 2.02 billion yuan;

TJ03 section (K18+670~K32+332.48) is responsible for 32.33 kilometers of pavement engineering, with an estimated construction and installation cost of 2.51 billion yuan;

The TJ05 section (YK44+000~YK55+420) includes one super large bridge of 2817.54 meters, with an estimated construction and installation cost of 2.389 billion yuan;

The excavation volume of the roadbed for the TJ06 section (YK55+420~YK69+260) reaches 5.61 million cubic meters, with an estimated construction and installation cost of 2.384 billion yuan;

The TJ07 section (YK69+260~YK77+000) includes one 3875 meter long tunnel with an estimated construction and installation cost of 2.15 billion yuan;

TJ08 section (K77+000~K86+982.873) is responsible for 35.92 kilometers of pavement engineering, with an estimated construction and installation cost of 2.007 billion yuan;

The TJ09 section (K86+320.753~YK100+590) includes a continuous rigid frame bridge with a span of 72+130+72 meters, with an estimated construction and installation cost of 2.588 billion yuan;

The TJ10 section (YK100+590~K112+923.327) includes 6 tunnels with a total length of 6755 meters and an estimated construction and installation cost of 2.773 billion yuan;

The TJ11 section (K134+100~K142+040) includes the Qiandao Lake Bridge with a span of 58+137+3 × 170+137+58 meters, with an estimated construction and installation cost of 2.464 billion yuan;

TJ12 section (K142+040~K154+000) is responsible for 50.72 kilometers of pavement engineering, with an estimated construction and installation cost of 1.829 billion yuan;

The TJ13 section (K154+000~K169+340) includes 18 major bridges with an estimated construction and installation cost of 1.635 billion yuan;

The TJ14 section (K169+340~K184+576.414) includes the Fenkou Bridge with a span of 65+110+65 meters, with an estimated construction and installation cost of 1.913 billion yuan.

In terms of technical standards, the project adopts a segmented design: the starting point to the left intersection section is a two-way six lane road with a designed speed of 100 kilometers per hour; The section from Zuokou Hub to Songcun Hub is a two-way four lane road with a designed speed of 80 kilometers per hour; The section from Songcun Hub to the terminal is a two-way four lane road with a designed speed of 100 kilometers per hour. The connecting lines are constructed according to different levels of highway standards.

After the completion of this project, it will effectively improve the transportation conditions in the western mountainous areas of Zhejiang Province, promote the development of tourism resources along the route, strengthen the economic ties between Zhejiang and Jiangxi provinces, and play an important role in promoting the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta and the construction of a strong transportation country.
