On August 14, the bidding for the civil engineering construction of the Tj3, TJ12 and TJ13 sections of the Chuanzhusi-Wenchuan section of the G0611 line (hereinafter referred to as the "Sichuan-Wen Expressway") was officially launched, marking that this national key transportation project with a total investment of about 56.5 billion yuan has entered the substantive construction stage. As an important part of the national expressway network, the project has passed the approval at all levels, and all preliminary work is fully ready, which will greatly shorten the time and space distance between the northwest Sichuan Plateau and the Chengdu Plain in the future.
The Sichuan-Wen Expressway starts from Chuanzhusi Town, Songpan County, passes through Songpan County, Mao County, and ends in Wenchuan County, with a total length of 198.742 kilometers, and is interconnected with the Duwen Expressway and the Wenma Expressway. After the completion of the project, it will connect the Northwest Sichuan Ecological Demonstration Zone and the Chengdu Economic Circle, further improve the transportation network of the national Belt and Road and the new land-sea corridor in the west, which is of great significance to promoting the development of tourism resources, rural revitalization and economic and social development of ethnic areas along the route.

The project adopts the standard of two-way four-lane expressway, with a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour and a bridge-to-tunnel ratio of 93.51%, including 146 bridges and 37 tunnels, which can be called "cloud sky". Due to the passage through the Longmenshan fault zone and high-altitude mountainous areas, the project faces the challenge of complex terrain and harsh geological conditions. The whole line is equipped with 14 interchanges, 3 service areas and smart transportation facilities, and is committed to building a "safe, green and smart" modern highway.
The TJ3, TJ12 and TJ13 bid sections of this bidding cover key control projects such as extra-long tunnels and high pier bridges, and are expected to attract top construction enterprises in the country to bid. The project is planned to be completed and opened to traffic at the end of the "14th Five-Year Plan", when the traffic time from Sichuan Zhu Temple to Wenchuan will be shortened from 4 hours to less than 2 hours, injecting new impetus into the economic and social development of northwest Sichuan.(This article is from the official website of Jiandao www.seetao.com it must not be reprinted without permission, otherwise it will be investigated, please indicate the reprint of Jiandao Network + original link) See the traffic column editor of Jiandao Network / Gao Xue
