On August 19, Taijian International Saudi Branch ushered in a major project node, and the Saudi Naria Phase II 1890MW power station project and the Aramco Abu Ali camp community project undertaken by the company started construction one after another, marking a new breakthrough in the field of energy and infrastructure for Chinese construction enterprises in Saudi Arabia.

As the first overseas host island construction project of Taijian Group, the technical difficulty and standard requirements of the Naria power station project set a new record for the enterprise. The project adopts the general contracting model of Harbin Electric International & China Railway Fourth Bureau Consortium and Taijian International expanded labor service subcontracting, and has completed concrete pouring in key parts such as the No. 1 waste heat boiler sewage cooling tank since entering the site in May. At present, the core facilities such as the foundation of the No. 1 gas turbine have been completed, the No. 2 sewage oil tank has entered the formwork support stage, and the project has officially entered the fast lane of the main construction.

The Aramco Camp community project is located in Jubail Industrial City, covering six residential buildings and supporting public service facilities. Under the framework of China Hydropower General Contracting, Taijian International undertook the construction task of 12,000 square meters. The project has now completed the foundation construction of bus shelters and comprehensive buildings, and individual buildings such as restaurants have entered the concrete pouring preparation stage, and the overall project progress is 15% ahead of schedule.

The general manager of Taijian International Saudi Branch said that both projects adopt the innovative model of "expanded labor subcontracting", which achieves both efficiency and quality improvement by integrating Chinese technical standards and local construction resources. Especially in the Naria power station project, the project team overcame technical problems such as large-volume concrete pouring in the high-temperature environment of the Middle East, and accumulated valuable experience for the subsequent undertaking of Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030" energy project.

Industry analysts pointed out that these two projects highlight the competitive advantage of Chinese companies in the Saudi EPC market. After the completion of the Naria power plant, it will alleviate the power gap in Saudi Arabia's eastern province, while the Aramco camp project will serve the living needs of industrial workers of the world's largest oil company, which has a significant demonstration effect.

It is reported that Taijian International will rely on these two benchmark projects to further expand the industrial plant and livelihood engineering construction market in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, and is currently participating in the bidding of some infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia's New Future City (NEOM).
