The groundbreaking ceremony of the Anshun Tea Photovoltaic Complementary EPC Project in Guizhou was grandly held in Puding County. The construction of three major photovoltaic power stations, Xingnong in Baiyan Town, Harmony in Maodong Township, and Shiban in Pingshang Town, started simultaneously, marking the entry of the largest tea photovoltaic complementary project cluster in the southwest region into the comprehensive construction stage.

The total area of the three projects in this project is about 7800 acres, with a total investment of 1.125 billion yuan. The innovative model of tea light complementarity is adopted - tea trees are planned to be planted under the photovoltaic panel array, achieving dual-use and efficient integration in one place. The total installed capacity of the DC side of the project is 390MWp (130.22178MWp per station), and the AC side capacity is 300MW (100MW per station). The annual power generation is expected to exceed 400 million kWh, which can meet the electricity demand of about 200000 households and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 320000 tons per year.
The project timeline reflects the characteristics of efficient approval and rapid progress: it obtained the environmental impact assessment approval from the Ecological Environment Bureau of Anshun City on July 29th, completed the EPC general contracting bidding on August 18th, and was awarded to the power consortium by China Electric Power Construction Jiangxi Institute and Shandong Quan. The three projects will implement a unified 125 day construction period plan and are expected to be connected to the grid for power generation before January 2026.

As a key project in Guizhou Province's 14th Five Year Plan for New Energy, this project innovatively adopts intelligent tracking brackets and double-sided double glass module technology, which improves power generation efficiency by 15% -20% compared to traditional photovoltaics. Synchronize the construction of an intelligent operation and maintenance center for the project, utilizing digital methods such as drone inspection and AI fault diagnosis to achieve intelligent management throughout the entire lifecycle.
After the completion of the project, it will form a demonstration area for the integration of photovoltaic power generation, tea plantation planting, and ecological tourism. It is expected to drive employment for more than 3000 farmers in the surrounding area, increase the annual income of the tea industry by more than 50 million yuan, and become a benchmark project for the agricultural photovoltaic complementary model in the southwest region, providing replicable Anshun experience for the development of new energy in mountainous areas across the country.
