Industry and ecology are not opposing poles in Jiyuan. In Jiyuan Iron and Steel Plant, a tank of goldfish swims leisurely in industrial wastewater that has been purified layer by layer, ultrafiltration, and reverse osmosis. Every year, 6.7 million cubic meters of recycled water are regenerated here, and the circulation system operates efficiently. In the waste battery recycling workshop, 300000 tons of waste batteries have undergone green treatment, and 99% of resources have been revitalized. Hydrogen powered trucks that purify coke oven gas shuttle with zero emissions. Jiyuan's circular economy, which turns waste into treasure, enables industrial development and ecological protection to complement each other, becoming a powerful engine driving high-quality development.

Jiyuan also spares no effort in cherishing and caring for natural resources. In the dense forest of Wangwu Mountain, forest rangers climb steep cliffs, deal with fire hazards, and use infrared cameras and unmanned aerial vehicles to build protective nets. The 265 square kilometer forest annually conserves over 50 million cubic meters of water. The "fish scale pits" on the slope of Xiaolangdi allow trees to grow vigorously, while the winter grass in the mountain basin stabilizes the soil and slopes, becoming ecological guardians. This is a vivid interpretation of the wisdom of "all factor utilization" in mountainous areas.

Ecological improvement allows life to thrive and multiply here. By the clear spring of Wulongkou, monkey groups gather and play under the call of monkey speakers; The ecological corridor spanning the Qin River ensures the safe migration of macaques. In the Yellow River wetland, 238 species of birds are either foraging or strolling, and 55 species of nationally protected birds have returned, becoming a vivid witness to the improvement of water quality.

In Jiyuan, a smart balance has been achieved between development and protection. In the morning sun, the factory area and living quarters blend harmoniously, and people exercise and play; Manghe Park has clear water and green banks, with elderly people doing morning exercises and children speeding. Regenerated water to raise goldfish, hydrogen powered trucks heading towards the future, macaques and bird populations returning for reproduction.
