This breakthrough fills the gap in related fields worldwide and marks a significant leap for China in the production of ultra-high strength carbon fiber. The T1200 grade ultra high strength carbon fiber, which was launched this time, was independently developed by China National Building Materials Group. It is worth noting that it is not a sample in the laboratory, but an industrialized product with a production capacity of up to 100 tons. This also makes China the first country in the world to achieve mass production of 100 tons of carbon fiber at this level. Simply put, the diameter of T1200 grade carbon fiber is less than one tenth of our hair, but its tensile strength is 10 times that of ordinary steel, and its density is only one fourth of steel. Its lightweight and tough characteristics are very prominent. With these excellent performances, it can be widely applied in strategic emerging industries such as aerospace, low altitude economy, and humanoid robots.Editor/Yang Meiling
