Recently, significant progress has been made in the preliminary work of the Jianchang to Songlingmen section of the Qinshen Expressway, and the winning bid results have been officially announced. This project is of great significance and will inject new impetus into the development of regional transportation.

Project Overview: Large scale, strict standards

The starting point of the Qinshen Expressway from Jianchang to Songlingmen is located in Xiwopu Village, Bashhan Township, Jianchang County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province. It runs eastward, passing through the south of Jianchang County and the south of Chaoyang Liucheng Development Zone, and finally reaches Songlingmen Village, Songlingmen Mongolian Township, Chaoyang County, where it intersects with the Danxi Expressway and connects with the under construction expressway. The total length of the project route is 78.962 kilometers, and all of them are newly constructed sections.

In terms of construction standards, the project adopts the standard of a two-way four lane expressway, with a design speed of up to 100 kilometers per hour and an overall roadbed width of 26 meters. The proportion of bridges along the entire line is 17.3%, the proportion of tunnels is 1.3%, and 6 interchanges are planned and constructed, including 2 hub interchanges and 4 general interchanges. There are also 2 service areas, 2 maintenance work areas, 1 monitoring and communication sub center, and 1 monitoring and communication station, with complete facilities and functions.

The bidding scope of this project is extensive, covering routes, subgrades, pavements, bridges and culverts (including railway bridges), tunnels, route intersections, traffic engineering (including traffic safety facilities, toll collection, monitoring, communication), facilities along the line (management facilities and service facilities, housing construction, power supply and distribution below 10kV in the site area, lighting, fire protection, lightning protection, etc.), environmental protection and landscape (environmental sensitive areas, noise reduction, sewage treatment, soil disposal site treatment, greening, landscape engineering, etc.), permanent external power, and preliminary and construction drawing survey and design of other projects.
