As a key passage connecting the Wustai Energy Industrial Park and the Bayinhuduge area, the G1817 renovation project plays an important role in optimizing the regional road network structure and improving the efficiency of freight and passenger transportation. Among them, the underpass of the Wuji Railway project has always been a key and difficult link in the entire renovation project due to technical difficulties such as the operation safety of existing railway lines and tunnel construction under complex geological conditions. The winning bidder will be required to strictly follow the safety regulations of the railway department, adopt advanced underground excavation or jacking construction techniques, complete the structural construction of the underpass tunnel while ensuring the normal passage of the Wuji Railway, and simultaneously promote supporting projects such as pipeline relocation and slope protection.

After the completion of the project, it will not only eliminate the traffic congestion and safety hazards caused by the level crossing between G1817 and Wuji Railway, but also further shorten the travel time from Wustai to Bayinhudog, providing more efficient channel support for the transportation of materials for industries such as coal and chemical along the line, and is of great significance for promoting regional economic coordinated development. In terms of project schedule planning, the project will be implemented in stages: the first stage will focus on handling preliminary procedures and building construction access roads, while simultaneously completing railway safety training for construction personnel; The second stage enters the main construction phase, adopting a 24-hour shift operation mode.
