At the "main showcase" of the conference, as one of the largest and most technologically powerful enterprises under Shandong Heavy Industry, Weichai unveiled new products in six major business segments: power systems, commercial vehicles, engineering machinery, agricultural equipment, and marine transportation equipment.

It is worth mentioning that nearly 60 star products in the power system have been unveiled, building a "power kingdom" with displacement covering 2-340L and power ranging from 18-10000kW, covering all series and fields. Building the cornerstone of brand thickness

On the afternoon of the 18th, Weichai released its new hydraulic brand LHY to the world, officially announcing that the Weichai hydraulic brand has been upgraded from "Linde Hydraulic" to "LHY", marking that this century old brand that inherits German technology genes is accelerating towards becoming a global leader in hydraulic systems.

The predecessor of LHY hydraulic brand can be traced back to Linde Hydraulics, founded in Munich, Germany in 1904, and has undergone 121 years of development. In 2012, Weichai strategically restructured Linde Hydraulic. This brand upgrade means that LHY has transformed from a single hydraulic component supplier to a system solution provider. It is not only an inheritance of Linde Hydraulic's century old technology accumulation, but also an important strategic transformation for Weichai to face the future and expand globally.

As a multinational industrial equipment group with significant global influence, Weichai has 29 well-known domestic and foreign brands, including LHY, among which there are century old brands: Dematic from the United States with a history of 206 years, Riva from Italy with a history of 183 years, Kaion from Germany with a history of 121 years, Baudouan from France with a history of 107 years, Weichai with a history of 79 years, Yaxing Bus with a history of 76 years, Ferrari and Shaanxi Heavy Duty Truck from Italy with a history of 57 years each, PSI from the United States with a history of 46 years, and Lovol with a history of 27 years

At the exhibition site, two machines engraved with the imprint of time stood proudly, witnessing the profound history of Weichai brand and the iterative breakthroughs of product technology. The 6160A diesel engine produced in March 1976 is nearly 50 years old. In the 1970s, it operated as a generator set in the state-owned breeding farm in Linyi, Shandong for decades, accumulating over 100000 hours. After retiring in 2017 and returning to Weichai, it can still be started with just one click, showcasing the quality background of the old Weichai. Over the course of more than 60 years from production to discontinuation, the 6160 series diesel engine has spawned 207 variant varieties, with a total production of nearly 110000 units, of which approximately 12000 units have been exported to over a dozen countries such as Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Indonesia, laying the foundation for Weichai's first wave of reputation in the global market.

The WD615 diesel engine is Weichai's "star player", known for "2.8 million kilometers without major repairs", "market share exceeding 75%", and "the world's largest single engine model in terms of production and sales". The global total sales of this model have exceeded 3.7 million units, of which about 700000 units have been exported overseas with the whole vehicle, making "China Power" stand out on the world stage with "reliability and efficiency" and "high attendance rate".

Placed together with two "old buddies" is Weichai's world's first diesel engine with a thermal efficiency of 53.09%, released in 2024, setting a world record for thermal efficiency. Three machines collectively condensed into Weichai's 79 year journey of "from reliability to leadership".

In the first three quarters of this year, Weichai's large bore engine data center business sales increased by 400% year-on-year.
