In today's profoundly changing global economic landscape, deepening regional cooperation has become a key path to addressing challenges and co creating prosperity. Recently, at the symposium on new opportunities for cooperation and development between China and Central Asia held in Tacheng, Xinjiang, representatives of political, commercial and academic circles from many countries gathered together to focus on the increasingly close partnership between China and Central Asian countries under the the Belt and Road Initiative, and make suggestions for the new future of regional development.

Abundant achievements: Economic and trade cooperation has reached a new level
The economic and trade relations between China and Central Asian countries are showing a steady growth trend. According to Zhang Shaogang, the specially invited vice president of the China Association for the Promotion of International Multinational Corporations, the practical cooperation between the two sides in various fields has been deepening with the high-quality joint construction of the the Belt and Road as the main line. At present, thousands of Chinese companies have invested and started businesses in the five Central Asian countries, extensively involved in key fields such as energy, minerals, agriculture, manufacturing, transportation and logistics.
Sakin Saitov, Counsellor of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in China, provided data to support this trend. He emphasized that China is not only Kazakhstan's largest trading partner, but also its most important source of foreign investment. Both sides have achieved fruitful results in promoting trade and investment and deepening cultural exchanges.

Pattern innovation: jointly drawing a blueprint for cross regional development
Faced with new opportunities, all parties are actively exploring more efficient cooperation models. Ashetov Timur, vice president of the Russian Chinese Chamber of Commerce, said: "We have been committed to optimizing the trilateral cooperation model of Russia+China+Central Asia, focusing on the the Belt and Road initiative, actively expanding cross regional cooperation practices in transportation, logistics, infrastructure, energy and other fields, and jointly promoting the economic transformation and upgrading of Central Asia."
This open and inclusive spirit of cooperation has also been responded to by European countries. Feng Xingliang, Chief Representative of the International Business Agency of North Rhine Westphalia in China, believes that cooperation between China and Central Asia is full of vitality and potential, and said, "Central Asia occupies an important position among Germany's global economic and trade partners, and we look forward to more cooperation achievements landing here in the future
In recent years, China has focused on developing bilateral and multilateral relations with Central Asian countries, fully leveraging its advantages in funding, technology, and management, and actively assisting in infrastructure construction and industrial upgrading in the Central Asian region. From the intricate transportation network to the increasingly sophisticated logistics system, from clean energy projects to digital infrastructure construction, a series of pragmatic collaborations are injecting new development momentum into this ancient land.
