Recently, China's energy storage industry has experienced a wave of abundant orders. Nanrui Jibao, Maitian Energy, China National Nuclear Corporation's Huineng International, and Hope Group have successively won major energy storage projects with a total order capacity of over 7GWh, covering the Australian, Indonesian, and domestic markets, demonstrating the global competitiveness and market recognition of China's energy storage technology.

In the Australian market, Nanrui Jibao has signed a global strategic cooperation agreement with Pacific Green Group to build a 250MW/1000MWh grid type energy storage power station in Victoria. According to Luo Wei, Assistant General Manager of Nanrui Jibao, Australia is an important market for global energy transformation and also the technological highland with the highest difficulty in applying grid building technology in the power grid. This cooperation marks the international recognition of Chinese enterprises in the field of high-end energy storage technology.

Maitian Energy announced at the same time that it has signed 2GWh energy storage orders with OSW and Solar Juice, totaling 4GWh. These collaborations will fully leverage OSW's extensive distribution network and localization capabilities in the Australian solar market, combined with the technological strength of Maitian Energy, to provide innovative energy storage solutions for Australian users. Both sides will also jointly explore emerging fields such as industrial and commercial energy storage, electric vehicle charging, and intelligent energy management systems.

In terms of overseas market expansion, China National Nuclear Corporation's subsidiary Huineng International has reached a cooperation agreement with Singaporean energy company Equator Renewables Asia to develop a 900MWp photovoltaic supporting 1.2GWh battery energy storage project in the Riau Islands of Indonesia. This large-scale project with a total investment of billions of dollars is planned to be completed and put into operation in 2029, and is expected to generate approximately 830 GWh of green electricity annually. Huineng International is responsible for the investment, construction, and operation of the project.

In the domestic market, Hope Group has also made significant progress. Its wholly-owned subsidiary, Hope Smart New Energy, has signed a contract with Gansu Electric Power Design Institute of China Energy Engineering Group to provide a complete energy storage system for the Dunhuang Guosheng Nandu 200MW/800MWh independent energy storage demonstration project. According to the contract agreement, the project will complete system delivery in April 2026. Keywords: Energy Storage Latest News, Energy Storage New Energy News

The acquisition of this series of orders marks a significant achievement for Chinese energy storage companies in expanding their global market. From Australia's grid based energy storage, to Indonesia's large-scale integrated solar energy storage project, and to domestic independent energy storage demonstration projects, Chinese companies have demonstrated strong capabilities in multiple technological fields, injecting Chinese power into the global energy transition.
