[Key sections of intercity railway for water town tourism line start construction] Recently, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Shuixiang Tourism Line intercity railway from Shuixiang Living Room Station (excluding) to Bache Station (including) and the connecting project (Zhejiang section and Shanghai section) was held at the construction site of China Railway Tenth Bureau in the northwest of Dizhao Village, Xitang Town, Jiashan County, Jiaxing City. This section starts from the starting point of the shield tunnel in front of Xiangfudang Station, crosses natural water bodies such as Maxie Lake and Taipu River to the north, and ends at the Water Town Living Room Station in the Shanghai Demonstration Zone. The total length is about 4.3 kilometers, and the shield tunneling method is used to cross the boundary between Shanghai and Zhejiang provinces. The Shanghai section is about 2.2 kilometers long and the Zhejiang section is about 2.1 kilometers long. It is a key connecting link and important component of the Shanghai Suzhou Jiaxing intercity railway. Its construction has improved the network loop of this fast railway that spans two provinces and one city, and will achieve seamless underground rail transit between Shanghai and Zhejiang. To ensure the smooth operation of the Xitang Line, Shanghai Demonstration Zone Line, and Water Town Tourism Line, the provincial boundary section of the Xitang Line is included in this project, and relying on the inter provincial coordination mechanism, the feasibility study of the project adopts the "joint review and joint approval" mode of Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang. The preliminary design approval has been obtained in the early stage, and the provincial boundary section will be uniformly constructed by Jiaxing, providing replicable experience for subsequent inter provincial transportation projects. The commencement of this project has pressed a fast button for the construction of the Shanghai Suzhou Jiaxing intercity railway. In the future, Jiaxing citizens can travel to Jiangsu, Shanghai and other places by taking the Jiaxing Fengnan Line and Jiashan Xitang Line, enjoying convenient cross regional travel. • On June 1, 2026, the Guangzhou Eastern Center Intelligent Fusion New Energy Storage Industry Demonstration Project invested and constructed by Zengtou Energy Company, a subsidiary of Zengcheng Urban Investment Group, officially started construction. The total investment of the project is nearly 467 million yuan, and a new 150MW/300MWh electrochemical independent energy storage power station will be built.
