As an important transportation infrastructure project in southeastern Chongqing, the construction of the Chongqing Guizhou Railway has attracted much attention. The line starts from Chongqing hub, passes through Banan, Nanchuan, Wulong, Pengshui and other places, and ends at Qianjiang, with a total length of about 265 kilometers and a designed speed of 250 kilometers per hour. It is constructed according to the standard of double track electrified railway. After the completion of the project, it will break the current situation of some areas in southeastern Chongqing not being connected to high-speed rail. The travel time from the main city of Chongqing to Qianjiang will be shortened from the current 4 hours or more to about 1.5 hours, greatly improving regional transportation accessibility.

This bidding covers multiple key links such as civil construction, supervision, and material procurement. Currently, the relevant bidding announcement has been released through official channels such as the China Tendering and Bidding Public Service Platform, attracting multiple enterprises with railway construction qualifications to participate in the competition. We will strictly follow the bidding process to select high-quality construction units, and simultaneously promote preliminary work such as on-site survey, land acquisition and demolition, and construction plan preparation, laying a solid foundation for the official start of construction in December.

The Chongqing Guizhou Railway is not only a transportation line, but also an economic development line and a line for people's livelihood and happiness. After the completion of the project, it will further improve the railway network layout in Southwest China, strengthen Chongqing's radiating and driving role as a national central city, promote the development of tourism resources, industrial synergy, and urban-rural factor flow along the route, inject lasting momentum into the rural revitalization of revolutionary old areas and ethnic minority areas in Southeast Chongqing, and have important significance for promoting regional coordinated development and building a new development pattern. During the construction process, the construction team will strictly implement the requirements for ecological environment protection, adopt green construction techniques, minimize the impact on the ecological environment such as mountains, forests, and water systems along the route, and achieve coordinated promotion of transportation construction and ecological protection.

At the same time, railway construction will also bring multiple development opportunities to the areas along the line. During the construction period, a large amount of manpower and material resources will directly drive the development of related industries such as local building materials supply and labor employment, providing more job opportunities for the surrounding people; After the completion of the project, a convenient transportation network will enable cities along the route such as Qianjiang and Wulong to integrate into the "1.5-hour economic circle" of Chongqing's main city. This will not only facilitate public travel, but also accelerate the integration and development of tourism resources along the route. Famous scenic spots such as Wulong Karst, Pengshui Ayi River, and Qianjiang Zhuoshui Ancient Town will be connected to form a characteristic tourism economic belt, attracting more tourists and promoting the upgrading of the cultural and tourism industry. In addition, the railway will also assist in the rapid export of characteristic agricultural products along the route, reduce logistics costs, broaden sales channels, and enable good products from mountainous areas to reach broader markets, further activating the endogenous driving force of rural revitalization.

At present, various preparatory work in the early stage of the project is being intensively carried out, including bidding review, construction drawing design, and coordination of land acquisition and demolition. As the official start of construction in December approaches, relevant units have formed professional teams, clarified responsibilities, and made every effort to ensure that the project progresses steadily according to the timeline.
