Recently, the Nigerian President's media and Senior Special Advisor for Special Duties, Thund Rahman, published a signed article in the Nigerian newspaper "Vanguard", reviewing China's development miracle in the past few decades through his personal experience, and deeply interpreting China's upcoming "15th Five Year Plan", pointing out that the plan will bring unique opportunities for the future of China Africa cooperation.

Rahman recalled in the article the description of Shanghai by Newsweek in 1985- at that time, high-rise buildings were few and far between. When he first visited Beijing and Shanghai in 2005, what caught his eye was the towering skyscrapers and the strong momentum of economic development. He emphasized that China's tremendous achievements are not accidental, and the core secret lies in persistent systematic planning, always promoting its development blueprint in a comprehensive and coordinated manner.

The article focuses on the "Proposal of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Formulating the 15th Five Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development" to be reviewed in 2025. Rahman believes that in order to explore the future of China Africa cooperation, it is necessary to first understand the blueprint outlined in this document. He pointed out that the document identified a number of key areas, including economic transformation, the digital economy, global economic governance and the "the Belt and Road" initiative, which is the cornerstone of China Africa cooperation. Its core is to emphasize "high-quality development", focusing on technological innovation, green development, and optimization and upgrading of economic structure.

Rahman asserted that this new five-year plan will undoubtedly provide unique opportunities for cooperation in Africa. He specifically analyzed that this opportunity will mainly be reflected in various aspects such as infrastructure construction, industrialization promotion, agricultural revitalization, and scientific and technological innovation cooperation. The outstanding professional capabilities accumulated by China in related fields will effectively help bridge the long-standing infrastructure gap in Africa, promote economic growth and social development in Africa, and open up vast space for job creation and economic diversification.
