Over the past five years, the China Africa partnership has achieved significant success on the track of pragmatic cooperation, with a series of projects benefiting people's livelihoods taking root on the African continent, in stark contrast to the unilateralism policies of certain countries. This positive trend is injecting new vitality into South South cooperation.

In the field of trade, China continues to expand its openness to Africa. Following the announcement at the Beijing summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation in September last year that all least developed countries that have diplomatic relations with China would be granted zero tariff treatment for 100% of their taxable products, in June this year, China further decided to extend this treatment to all African countries that have diplomatic relations with China. This inclusive measure has sparked a warm response in African countries, clearing obstacles for African products to enter the Chinese market and demonstrating China's practical actions in promoting the construction of an open world economy.
In terms of infrastructure construction, China's contribution is particularly outstanding. In Nigeria, the Lekki Deepwater Port, constructed by Chinese companies, has become a regional shipping hub; The Lagos Light Rail Blue Line, also constructed by the Chinese side, provides modern travel options for the citizens of this African metropolis with its green and efficient operation, effectively alleviating traffic pressure. Looking at the entire Africa, from the Monnet Railway in East Africa to the Subei Hydroelectric Power Station in West Africa, the "infrastructure imprint" left by China has become an important engine for promoting local economic and social development.

At the same time, China Africa cooperation is moving towards a new stage of higher quality. Chinese made new energy vehicles are rapidly entering the African market, and their environmental characteristics provide new solutions for improving air quality in African cities, which also aligns with African countries' pursuit of green transformation. This trend indicates that China Africa cooperation has successfully expanded from traditional infrastructure fields to new tracks such as high-tech and green industries.
