Now, a new major transportation artery is about to emerge among the mountains in southern Shanxi, carrying the hope of development and connecting the prosperity of Jincheng and Yuncheng, injecting strong impetus into regional coordinated development. Super Engineering Data Overview

This project is located in Jincheng City and Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province. The main line is 150.370 kilometers long, like a giant dragon, passing through the mountains and waters of Yangcheng County, Yuanqu County, Wenxi County, and Xia County. The project has a huge scale and leading technical standards:

Road standard: The main line adopts the standard of a two-way four lane expressway, with a designed speed of 100 kilometers per hour.

Bridge and Tunnel Cluster: A total of 84 bridges have been erected along the entire line, with a total length of over 36.4 kilometers, including 4 super large bridges; Twelve tunnels were excavated with a total length of over 38.3 kilometers, of which five were extra long tunnels. The high ratio of bridges to tunnels indicates the difficulty of the project.

Supporting facilities: There are 9 interchanges, 6 ramp toll stations, 3 service areas, and 1 parking area along the entire line, equipped with complete management, maintenance, and tunnel monitoring facilities. At the same time, it also includes nearly 6 kilometers of interconnectivity connecting the local road network.

Billions of funds jointly built by multiple parties

This project adopts a Build Operate Transfer (BOT) franchise model, with a franchise period of 35 years, including a 1-year preparation period, a 4-year construction period, and a 30-year operation fee period.

Investment scale: The total estimated investment of the project is about 22.961 billion yuan, of which the static investment is about 21.898 billion yuan.

Fund mix: The composition of funds reflects the effective cooperation between the government and social capital. The project capital is approximately 4.592 billion yuan, accounting for 20% of the total investment, jointly raised by the government (contributing 40%) and the winning franchisee (contributing 60%). In addition, the government provides approximately 3.239 billion yuan in special subsidy funds. The remaining construction funds of approximately 15.13 billion yuan will be financed and resolved by the project company established by the winning franchisee.

After fierce market competition, a consortium led by China Railway Communications Investment Group Co., Ltd. and composed of twelve strong road construction enterprises including China Railway Central South Investment Development Co., Ltd., China Railway First to Fourth, Sixth, Ninth, Tenth, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Tunnel Bureau, successfully won the championship and became the franchisee of this project with its comprehensive advantages.
