The road problems between Linquan in Anhui and Huaibin in Henan are about to become history. On December 13, 2025, the Anhui section of the Fuyang Huaibin Expressway, with a total investment of 24.79 billion yuan, officially began construction. This brand new "artery" with a total length of about 121 kilometers will not only shorten the travel time of Master Wang to less than 1 hour, but also press the "fast forward button" for the coordinated development of the entire northern Anhui region, as well as the Yangtze River Delta and central regions.

Draw a blueprint to the end
The birth of this road originated from a grand transportation blueprint. As a key "one cross" in the "Five Verticals and Ten Horizontals" expressway network in Anhui Province, the mission of Fuyang Huaibin Expressway is to open up inter provincial "dead end roads" and build an east-west expressway. The project starts from Yingzhou District, Fuyang City, connects to the completed Chuxin Expressway, extends westward, and finally seamlessly connects with the Henan section at the Anhui Henan provincial border in Linquan County.
Its completion will not only be the connection of a road, but also a reshaping of the regional transportation pattern. It will strengthen Fuyang's position as a national comprehensive transportation hub, make the road network structure in northern Anhui more complete and efficient, and open a "new door" to the outside world for this vast land with millions of people.

Engine roars, ushering in a new journey
Transportation is the vanguard of economic development. This heavily invested highway is expected to drive regional development.
Internally, it is an accelerator for the revitalization of northern Anhui. The project will directly benefit areas along the route such as Fuyang and Linquan, greatly improving the local investment environment. Convenient logistics will enable high-quality agricultural products and labor resources in northern Anhui to "go out" faster, and also make external capital, technology, and talent more willing to "come in", providing solid transportation support for rural revitalization and new urbanization.

Externally, it serves as a connector between the Yangtze River Delta and the central region. It is like a link that radiates the economic power of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration to the Central Plains Economic Zone more efficiently through the important node of Fuyang. This is not only a strong response to the two national strategies of the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta and the rise of the central region, but also will promote the accelerated integration of the two regions in terms of people flow, logistics, and information flow, and jointly write a new chapter of high-quality development.
With the roar of the first excavator, a "road of hope" carrying the hopes of countless people is accelerating and extending on the land of northern Anhui.
