On the evening of February 7th, the "2026 China Vietnam Good Neighbor Friendship New Year Concert" jointly organized by the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Ministry of Public Security was grandly held in Hanoi. General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Su Lin, along with several Politburo members, Ambassador He Wei and his wife, as well as friendly individuals from various sectors of the two countries, representatives from Chinese funded institutions, media, and international students in Vietnam, attended the event with over 700 people.

At the concert, artists from China Central Opera House and Vietnam jointly presented classic Chinese songs such as "Spring Festival Overture" and "Butterfly Lovers", passionately performed moving melodies reflecting Sino Vietnamese friendship such as "Vietnam China", and world-renowned songs such as "My Sun", which aroused strong resonance and warm applause from audiences in both countries.

Before the event began, General Secretary Su Lin had a brief exchange with Ambassador He Wei, highly praising China's appointment of high-level art groups to perform in Vietnam on the occasion of the successful conclusion of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the 76th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China. He encouraged both sides to enhance cultural exchanges and continuously consolidate the popular will foundation of the Vietnam China community with a shared future.
