With the roar of machinery, the construction of the preliminary section (TJ-03 section) of the Huaiyuan Fengtai Expressway in Bengbu has officially begun, marking the transition of this major artery that runs through both sides of the Huai River from the blueprint to reality.

As the "first move" of the project, the site selection for the TJ-03 section of the project is of great strategic significance. It spans across Feinan Town, Heliu Town, and Lanqiao Town in Huaiyuan County, with a total length of approximately 11.85 kilometers. Although this is only one section of the 55.48 kilometer project, its commencement of construction not only means that the project has entered the practical stage, but also sets the tone for the subsequent promotion of the entire line. The entire Bengbu section starts from the northwest side of the G3 Jingtai Expressway Wangwang Service Area and ends west at the boundary of Bengbu Huainan City in Huangwei Village, Tangji Town, with a total investment of 7.8 billion yuan. Adopting a design standard of two-way four lane, 120 kilometers per hour, this is not only a physical road, but also a long-awaited "fast track" in the northern Anhui region.

If the commencement of TJ-03 project is a breakthrough at a certain point, then the full line connection from Huaiyuan to Fengtai Expressway is a superficial reshaping.

For a long time, although the transportation connection between the northern Anhui region and the Huai River urban agglomeration had a foundation, it lacked an efficient horizontal axis. The implementation of this project is like a strong "suture line", closely connecting the G3 Beijing Taiwan Expressway with the planned Huainan section.
