Project Overview
According to the latest disclosure by the Leshan High tech Zone Management Committee of the Environmental Impact Assessment Draft for the Annual Production of 400000 Tons of Positive Electrode Materials Project of Leshan Xinneng New Material Technology Co., Ltd., the project has completed the second public announcement, marking key progress in the preliminary work of the project.
The project plans to produce 400000 tons of lithium iron phosphate cathode materials annually, which is equivalent to one-third of the current annual production capacity of top domestic enterprises. Lithium iron phosphate, as the core material of energy storage batteries, directly determines the safety and service life of the energy storage system based on its performance.
A production capacity of 400000 tons means that it can meet the annual production demand of about 80 GWh of energy storage batteries. ”Industry experts analyze that this is equivalent to providing a year's worth of clean electricity reserves for 2 million households

At present, the project has completed the first public announcement of environmental impact assessment and land transfer procedures. Subsequently, the design, construction, and equipment procurement work will be comprehensively promoted according to the plan.
