China has always advocated adhering to the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter and opposed the use of force in international relations. It is unacceptable for the United States and Israel to launch attacks on Iran during the Iran US negotiation process, openly killing a sovereign leader and inciting regime change. These actions violate international law and basic norms of international relations. At present, the war has spread to the entire Persian Gulf, and the situation in the Middle East may be pushed into a dangerous abyss. China is highly concerned about this.
China's position is: firstly, to immediately cease military operations. Prevent the spread and overflow of war, and prevent the situation from escalating beyond control. China attaches great importance to the security of Gulf countries and supports them in maintaining a restrained attitude. Secondly, return to dialogue and negotiation as soon as possible. All parties should strongly urge peace and block war, and urge the parties involved to return to the track of dialogue and negotiation as soon as possible. Thirdly, jointly oppose unilateral actions. Without authorization from the United Nations Security Council, they launched a large-scale attack on sovereign countries, undermining the foundation of peace established after World War II. The international community should issue a clear and distinct voice to oppose the world's retreat to the law of the jungle.
