As of February 25, 2026, the total number of China Europe freight trains entering and leaving the country through the China Europe East Passage this year has reached 1034, transporting 105170 TEUs of goods, an increase of 48.4% and 43.2% respectively year-on-year, surpassing the 1000 train mark 26 days earlier than last year.
The China Europe East Railway Corridor consists of three major railway ports: Manzhouli, Suifenhe, and Tongjiang. Currently, 27 stable operating routes have been formed, connecting 14 countries including Poland, Germany, and the Netherlands, and linking more than 60 cities in China such as Changsha, Zhengzhou, and Chengdu. The railway department relies on the digital port intelligent system to strengthen the coordination and linkage between customs and border inspection, optimize the wide gauge receiving process, shorten the clearance time of trains to within 30 minutes, and improve the overall transportation efficiency by nearly 10%. As of February 25th, Manzhouli Station, China's largest land port to Russia, has completed an import and export freight volume of 3.5088 million tons, an increase of 191600 tons year-on-year, with a growth rate of 5.8%. Tongjiang North Station operated 37 export trains with a capacity of 33000 tons, an increase of 236.4% and 312.5% year-on-year, respectively. At present, the expansion and renovation project of Jiamusi Tongjiang Railway is accelerating.
