The Uzbekistan Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade held talks with a delegation from the Shanxi Provincial Department of Commerce of China in Tashkent. Both sides sat around the conference table and engaged in in-depth discussions on the development prospects of the strategic partnership between Ukraine and China, deepening regional cooperation, and exchanging experiences in key economic fields. From Tashkent to Taiyuan, from investment, industry and trade to cross regional forums, this dialogue spanning thousands of miles is laying a solid foundation for the coordinated development of key areas of the Ukrainian Chinese economy.

Practical consensus reached through talks

The meeting was held by representatives from the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Ukraine and a delegation led by Wang Hongjin, Director of the Department of Commerce of Shanxi Province, China. The two sides discussed the development prospects of the strategic partnership between Ukraine and China, the deepening of regional cooperation, and the exchange of experience in key economic fields. The meeting clarified that both sides will jointly develop a new project portfolio and ensure the participation of representatives from the two countries' enterprises in the third Ukraine China Cross Regional Forum to be held in Xi'an from May 20th to 22nd. After the meeting, a joint working group has been established to coordinate and promote the implementation of the project, ensuring that all cooperation measures are implemented effectively.

Complementary advantages highlight space

Currently, both Uzbekistan and China are committed to promoting high-quality regional economic development. Uzbekistan urgently needs support from diverse fields of technology and cooperation, while China has mature technology and experience in renewable energy, water resource protection, industrial production, and other fields.
