On March 31, 2026, a flute pierced the river surface in Longtou Port, Fuling. A train loaded with semi bulk vehicles slowly drove out of the platform and headed towards the Beibu Gulf Port in Guangxi, then transferred to sea freight to Algeria in North Africa. The connection of this new route adds another artery to the logistics channel between the western inland and the North African coast.

The first train departs
This train is carrying 150 sets of SKD components, with a value of approximately 10 million yuan, and the destination is Skikda Port in Algeria. The entire process adopts the railway sea intermodal transportation mode, which shortens the transportation time by more than 10 days compared to the traditional river sea intermodal transportation mode.
