Janibek Tejanov, Deputy Minister of Transport of Kazakhstan, held a meeting with senior management of China Harbour Engineering Co., Ltd. in Beijing to discuss the progress of the "Ayaguz Bakht" railway project. Both parties have reached a clear consensus on the construction focus and cooperation details of the project, and are fully committed to promoting the timely completion of the project, further enhancing the throughput efficiency of the China Kazakhstan cross-border transportation corridor, and helping to deepen the interconnection and development of bilateral economic and trade fields.

The meeting focused on the latest implementation of the "Ayaguz Bakt" railway project. Both sides exchanged views on mobilizing technical forces and related resources, accelerating the construction process, and ensuring timely delivery of the project. At the same time, they reviewed the technical issues related to the connection point of the China Kazakhstan railway network.
Kazakhstan emphasizes the hope that local construction companies and professional technical talents can participate in project construction and prioritize the use of local building materials; China Harbour has made it clear that it will strictly follow the established schedule to advance project construction and promises to ensure the deep participation of local subcontractors.
