Recently, the second energy storage power station in Yanzhou, Yanchi County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, was officially connected to the grid and put into operation, marking the breakthrough of Ningxia's new energy storage grid connection scale of over 8 million kilowatts, ranking among the top in the country.

As a national comprehensive demonstration zone for new energy, Ningxia added 31.583 million kilowatts of new energy power generation capacity during the 14th Five Year Plan period. By the end of 2025, the total installed capacity of new energy power generation in the entire region will reach 57.32 million kilowatts, accounting for 65.5% of the total installed capacity. Developing new energy storage is a key measure to adapt to the large-scale integration of new energy and ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid.
