The Chilean National Electricity Coordination Agency recently announced the official launch of an international open tender for a power transmission project with a total investment of approximately 480 million US dollars. This bidding includes a total of 17 new transmission projects, covering the construction of transmission lines and substations, with the aim of expanding and upgrading Chile's national power grid architecture.

The project will be fully integrated into the Chilean national power system, which stretches over 3100 kilometers from north to south, starting from Arica in the north and ending in Chilo é in the south, serving as the backbone network for national power transmission. This expansion plan is a key part of Chile's long-term energy strategy, aimed at meeting the growing demand for electricity and providing infrastructure support for the continued expansion of renewable energy generation.
