Recently, a delegation of leaders from the Vietnamese power industry visited China South Power Grid Yunnan International Co., Ltd., where the two sides held exchanges and discussions on topics such as the application of high-voltage direct current transmission technology and the sharing of experience in power grid operation and management. Chen Xu, director and general manager of the company, and Ruan Junsong, chairman of EVNNPT, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

Chen Xu stated that Vietnam is the first market for China Southern Power Grid to carry out international power cooperation, and the business development of China Southern Power Grid Lancang Mekong International Company is accompanied by the gradual start and continuous promotion of power transmission work to Vietnam. Next, Nanwang Lancang Mekong International Company will continue to deepen the collaborative linkage mechanism of "front store, back factory", further strengthen cooperation with Vietnam, steadily promote practical cooperation in the field of energy and power, continue to assist in the interconnection of power between China and Vietnam, actively explore cooperation opportunities in the field of direct current transmission, orderly expand the volume of power trade, expand the space for exchanges and cooperation in multiple fields, and contribute to the construction of a community with a shared future between China and Vietnam.
