The Minister of Electricity, Energy and Mineral Resources of Bangladesh, Iqbal, the Executive Chairman of the Investment and Development Authority, Choudhury, as well as relevant government agencies, industry associations, and renewable energy enterprise leaders attended.

Ambassador Yao pointed out that energy cooperation is a key focus of practical cooperation between China and Bangladesh, and developing renewable energy is a strategic choice for Bangladesh to achieve energy security and enhance export competitiveness, as well as a priority direction for China Bangladesh cooperation. China is willing to share the experience of the whole industry chain of clean energy, deepen cooperation in policies, industries, investment and financing, help Bangladesh achieve energy transformation and sustainable development, and promote the high-quality joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" between China and Bangladesh to go deeper and more practical.
