On April 27, 2026, the Development and Reform Commission of Yunnan Province issued two consecutive approvals, officially approving the Shanchong Wind Farm project in Kunming City and the Yulu Wind Farm project in Nanhua County, Chuxiong Prefecture. These two wind power projects have a total installed capacity of 373750 kilowatts and a total investment scale exceeding 2.118 billion yuan, marking another acceleration in the construction of clean energy bases and energy structure optimization in Yunnan Province, adding a strong engine to the province's green power supply.

Kunming Xishan approved

The Shanchong Wind Farm project in Kunming is located in Xishan District. As a key project approved this time, its construction scale reaches 243750 kilowatts. According to the approval, the station will install 34 high-power wind turbines, with a total investment of up to 1389.3747 million yuan. The project owner Kunming Jufeng New Energy Co., Ltd. will be responsible for the subsequent construction and operation. The implementation of this project will effectively enhance the clean energy consumption capacity of the central Yunnan region and help Kunming achieve its green and low-carbon development goals.

Chu Xiong landed in Nanhua

The Yulu Wind Farm project in Nanhua County, Chuxiong Prefecture, which was approved on the same day, is located within Nanhua County, with a total installed capacity of 130000 kilowatts and a planned construction of 26 wind turbines. The total investment of this project is 729.0719 million yuan, invested and developed by Jingke Electric Power Co., Ltd. in Nanhua County.
