On April 28, 2026, Liu Haixing, Minister of the Foreign Liaison Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, met with a cross party delegation of Moldovan parliamentarians led by Batrenca, Deputy Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament and member of the Socialist Party Executive Committee, in Beijing.

Liu Haixing stated that China and Morocco are traditional friendly cooperative partners.   China always respects the Moldovan people's independent choice of a development path that is in line with their national conditions. The CPC has long carried out friendly exchanges with the main political parties in Moldova, and is willing to continue to strengthen exchanges at all levels, learn from each other on issues of common concern such as party building, national governance, modernization, and promote practical cooperation and people to people and cultural exchanges through inter party channels, so as to help China Moldova relations move forward. At present, China is promoting the implementation of the Outline of the "Fifteenth Five Year Plan". China is willing to deepen the docking of development strategies with Morocco, promote the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" cooperation to achieve more results, and better benefit the two peoples. Liu Haixing also introduced the practice of people's democracy throughout the entire process in China, as well as the relevant situation of establishing and practicing the correct view of political achievements through learning and education.

Batrenza spoke highly of the great development achievements of the country led by the CPC, which not only set an example for the development of all countries, but also injected precious stability and positive energy into the turbulent world.   We look forward to strengthening friendly exchanges between political parties, parliaments and governments of the two countries, learning from China's development experience, deepening cooperation in science and technology, humanities, green development and other fields within the framework of the "the Belt and Road", and promoting the continuous development of bilateral relations.
