Pomegranate Cloud/Xinjiang Daily News (Reporter Hei Hongwei) On April 28th, the 2026 Turkmenistan China Exhibition opened in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, with over a hundred Chinese companies participating.
This exhibition is initiated by the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the China International Chamber of Commerce Xinjiang Chamber of Commerce as one of the co organizers. The exhibition built an efficient economic and trade docking platform to help deepen practical cooperation between China and Turkmenistan, especially between Xinjiang and Turkmenistan, and jointly draw a new picture of economic and trade cooperation of the "the Belt and Road".

The exhibition will last for three days, covering an area of 2000 square meters and featuring exhibition groups from Xinjiang and multiple domestic provinces, regions, and cities. It will focus on advantageous industries such as clean energy, petrochemicals, information technology, agriculture, and tourism, and will include professional exhibitions, themed conferences, enterprise matchmaking meetings, government enterprise dialogue meetings, and other segments.
The Xinjiang Chamber of Commerce of the China International Chamber of Commerce organized 8 enterprises, including Xinjiang Boshiran Intelligent Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Xinkang Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Jiuyu Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., and Xinjiang Huyang Cable Manufacturing Co., Ltd., to participate in the exhibition, mainly involving agricultural products, intelligent agricultural machinery, agricultural technology, comprehensive agricultural services, industry, traditional Chinese medicine products and other fields.

On the opening day of the exhibition, Xinjiang Boshiran Intelligent Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd. completed orders for 6 seeders and 1 tractor.
During the exhibition, a series of supporting activities will accurately connect supply and demand, effectively improving the effectiveness of the exhibition. Multiple Turkmenistan China (Xinjiang) enterprise (B2B) docking meetings and government enterprise (B2G) dialogue activities were carried out in an orderly manner. Multiple Xinjiang enterprises have been coordinating and exchanging ideas with the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Transport and Communications, Ministry of Construction, and related enterprises in Turkmenistan.
Located in the hinterland of Central Asia, Turkmenistan is an important post station of the ancient Silk Road and one of the first countries to support and participate in the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road". In recent years, local exchanges and cooperation between Xinjiang, China and Turkmenistan have accelerated and improved, with a bilateral trade volume of approximately 65 million US dollars by 2025, a year-on-year increase of 83%, indicating enormous potential for cooperation.
He Ying, Vice President of the Xinjiang Chamber of Commerce of the China International Chamber of Commerce, stated that the chamber has established bilateral cooperation mechanisms with Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan, and has organized multiple international economic and trade activities, facilitating numerous project collaborations and providing an important platform for local cooperation between China and Central Asian countries. The Chamber of Commerce will continue to play a bridging role, continuously tap into the potential for cooperation between both parties, and strive to achieve more cooperation results.
