Russian President Putin stated to the media on May 9th that cooperation between Russia and China is the most important factor in maintaining stability in international relations.

Putin said that currently, when international treaties in the fields of disarmament and nuclear non-proliferation have almost disappeared, cooperation between Russia and China has become an important factor in preventing nuclear proliferation and maintaining stability.

He also stated that China is an important economic and trade partner of Russia, and the bilateral trade volume between Russia and China continues to grow. Thanks to the development of high-tech industries, the structure of economic and trade cooperation between the two sides is continuously diversifying.
