[China Energy Engineering Pingtan Wind Power Project Confirms Start of Construction Plan]The Pingtan A offshore wind farm project with a total investment of 6.59 billion yuan has completed the preliminary procedures adjustment and is scheduled to start construction in August 2026. The project is located in the northern sea area of Pingtan Island, with an installed capacity of 464MW and 29 16MW wind turbines. After completion, the annual power generation will be 1.89 billion kilowatt hours, with outstanding energy-saving and emission reduction benefits.
