A long-term agreement of up to 12 years has officially made GAS Arabian Services the versatile steward of all Saudi Aramco facilities within the kingdom. Saudi Arabian Oil Company recently awarded the company a long-term agreement to provide professional in-house services for all facilities in Saudi Arabia, covering multiple technical fields such as machinery, pipelines, electrical, instrumentation, communication, painting, civil engineering, and structural engineering.

One stop operation and maintenance from pipeline to civil engineering
According to the agreement, GAS Arabian Services will undertake comprehensive technical support and maintenance work for facilities under Saudi Aramco. The service scope spans across eight major professional fields - mechanical maintenance, pipeline maintenance, electrical systems, instrument control, communication facilities, anti-corrosion coating, civil construction, and structural engineering, covering almost all aspects of industrial facility operation and maintenance. This one-stop service model means that Saudi Aramco no longer needs to connect with multiple suppliers separately, but instead completes the full chain management from daily maintenance to specialized projects through a single partner, directly improving the operational reliability and efficiency of industrial assets.
The initial term of the agreement is six years, with two renewal options of three years each, and the total contract term can reach up to twelve years. Although the specific amount has not been disclosed, its financial impact will depend on the actual workload, scale, and scope of each contract and purchase order under the framework agreement.

Lock in the Saudi energy service track
For GAS Arabian Services, the strategic value of this agreement far exceeds the contract itself. As a leading provider of industrial and maintenance solutions in Saudi Arabia's energy sector, this winning bid further consolidates its market position and deepens its long-term partnership with Saudi Aramco. Against the backdrop of Saudi Arabia's 2030 vision driving sustained expansion of the energy industry, having a service agreement covering the entire region for 12 years is equivalent to obtaining a long-term meal ticket. From six to twelve years, the flexible design of this agreement leaves ample room for both parties. For Saudi Aramco, it ensures the continuity and stability of core facility operations and maintenance; For GAS Arabian Services, it has secured a stable source of revenue for the next decade. In the increasingly competitive global energy service market, this deeply bound cooperation model may be the real moat.Editor/Cheng Liting
