As the largest transportation investment project since the establishment of Huangshi City, the Huangyang Section of Wuyang Expressway has always attracted the attention of the public. Recently, the environmental impact report of the Huangyang Section of the Wuyang Expressway has been approved by the Department of Ecology and Environment of Hubei Province.
The Huangshi section of the Wuyang Expressway starts from the northwest of Dongfeng Farm in Daye City, near Ejia and Yangjiazhou on the boundary of Huangshi City, connects with the section from Wuhan to Ezhou, ends near the mountain pond of Jiangxi and Ejie, and the proposed highway from Wuning in Jiangxi to Yangxin in Hubei Docking. In fact, the Wuyang Expressway is an integral part of the Wuhan-Nanchang Expressway.
The Huangshi section of Wuyang Expressway has a total length of 91.308 kilometers, a width of 26 meters, a two-way four-lane road and a top speed of 100 kilometers per hour. The Daye section of the Wuyang Expressway passes through 8 towns (fields) and streets in Huandiqiao Town, Bao'an Town, Chengui Town, Mingshan Township, Jinshandian Town, Jinhu Street, and Dajipu Town. Passing through areas such as Baisha, Futu, Jingtoushan Farm, Junken Farm, Mugang Town, etc. within Yangxin.
There are 9 interconnections across the Huangyang section of the Wuyang Expressway. They are: Dongfeng Interchange, Security Interchange, Chen Gui Interchange, Liujiawan Interchange, Batang Interchange, Baisha Interchange, Yangxin Interchange, Yangxinnan Interchange, Yangxinnan Interchange. At the same time, a 7.7-km Yangxinnan Interconnected First-Class Highway Link will be built simultaneously. In other words, the Huangshi section of the Wuyang Expressway has an interconnection every 10 kilometers on average. After this highway is completed, all townships in Huangshi will be able to get close to the highway. The journey from Daye to Wuhan can be shortened to 40 minutes, and the journey from Yangxin to Wuhan will be shortened to 1 hour.
It is reported that in addition to the two major control projects of the Wuyang Expressway Project, the bridge construction of Yufang Bridge, Xujiazui Bridge, Guantang Village Super Bridge, Xiazhuwan Bridge, Gangbian Village Bridge, and Zhaojing Village Bridge has started; Regarding the roadbed engineering, the soft foundation curing test section of the third bid section has been started; the tunnel construction of the Mugang tunnel exit has been started.
After the highway is completed, it will shorten the spatial distance between Wuhan, Huangshi and Nanchang, speed up the economic and cultural exchanges between the three places, form a high-speed direct passage, support the integrated development of the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, and fully realize the three central cities. 3 hour high-speed traffic circle.
