[Acceptance of the Yangtze River Upstream Channel Regulation Project] Recently, the waterway improvement project from Chaotianmen to Fuling in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River successfully passed the completion acceptance of the Ministry of Transport and was officially put into operation. After the rectification, the 4.5-meter deep waterway in the Three Gorges Reservoir area has been extended to the central urban area of Chongqing, and 5000 ton cargo ships can directly reach the main city of Chongqing all year round.
