The project is located in the Gulf of Guinea in West Africa. It is currently the largest hydraulic project in Ghana. The contract period is 49 months. The main construction includes 3558 meters of breakwaters, 1400 meters of deep-water container berths, 121 hectares of land reclamation and foundation treatment, port pools and Foundation trench dredging, bank protection construction and ancillary facilities, etc.

Since the start of construction in July 2016, the project department has actively adapted to high standards, introduced international high-end talents, and built an international first-class project team in the face of difficulties such as many nodes, tight construction schedules, high standards, complex geology, and poor sea conditions during the monsoon period. Continue to strengthen project management; integrate investment of superior resources, coordinate the deployment of large ships, and efficiently advance construction progress; increase technological innovation, independently build lightweight underwater levelers, innovative application of Trimble slope control, visual installation of protective block blocks, etc. System, obtained 3 national patents and 1 provincial and ministerial-level construction method; strengthened the foundation of safety quality management, continuously improved the management system, promoted the application of information technology such as PMWEB and LIFE GUARD, and realized a total of 9.55 million safe working hours; improved the level of localized management and provided Nearly 4,000 jobs, helping local employees to improve their skills; practicing the concept of ecological and environmental protection, creating a "sea turtle breeding center", a total of more than 17,000 sea turtles were released, and received high praise in the IFC's annual review.

The construction of the last two nodes of the project is at the peak of the new coronary pneumonia epidemic in Ghana. Facing the dual challenges of epidemic prevention and control and construction and production, the project department earnestly fulfills the main responsibility of epidemic prevention, strictly implements the epidemic prevention deployment of superior units, refines grid management, continuously improves special plans, strengthens inspection and supervision, and normalizes epidemic prevention and control. Efforts were made to promote epidemic prevention and production with "two-handed and two-handed" to ensure the smooth completion of the project.
