Recently, the preliminary design of the Nanxun-Tongxiang section of the Su-Taiwan Expressway and the Tongxiang-Deqing Link (Phase I) Taoyuan Interchange Link (Zhejiang Section) project has been approved by the Nanxun Economic Development Bureau.

It is reported that the starting point of the project is located on the north side of Dongdai Village, Nanxun Town, and the end point is along the east side of Dongzhuang and the Taoyuan Interchange Line (Jiangsu Section) of Jiangsu Province. The total length of the route is 1.906 kilometers. There are 3 bridges and two-way four-lane first-level. Highway construction standards, the design speed is 80 km/h, and the roadbed is 24.5 meters wide.

It is understood that the total investment of the Su-Taiwan Expressway project is estimated to be about 16.8 billion yuan. The section to the south of Shenjiahu will be promoted, with a total mileage of 44km and an initial construction period of 36 months. The main line starts from the Shenjiahu Expressway, Jinglian City, Tongxiang Wuzhen, Shimen, Wutong, Fengming, and Chongfu, and ends at the Qitang hub of the first phase of the Qianjiang Channel North Link.

The Sutai Expressway is an important part of the Yangtze River Delta expressway network "Vertical Three" from Yancheng, Jiangsu to Shaoxing, Zhejiang. It is an important high-grade highway connecting Jiaxing and Huzhou to Hangzhou in the south and southern Jiangsu in the north. It is also a direct link from Wuzhen to Xiaoshan. The airport, a fast track connecting the main city of Hangzhou. In the future, when the Su-Taiwan Expressway is completed and opened to traffic, it will further improve the regional expressway network structure, improve the travel conditions of surrounding people, and help Tongxiang, Nanxun, and Deqing to undertake the development of the Su-Hang economy and quickly integrate into the Yangtze River Delta.
