On October 18, 2020, the Nujiang CCCC Fugong Munima Bridge, which was built with the aid of China Communications Group and undertaken by the Three Public Administrations, was successfully closed, marking the completion of the main part of the bridge.
The Munima Bridge is the largest infrastructure project assisted by CCCC in the construction of Nujiang Prefecture in Yunnan Province. It is also another bridge after CCCC Nujiang Lianxin Bridge. It has an investment of 145 million yuan and a total length of 609 meters. The main bridge spans the Nu River. Prestressed concrete continuous box girder structure. During the construction process, the project team overcame the unfavorable factors of continuous rain and traffic and promoted the construction of the bridge safely, efficiently and with high quality.

The bridge is located in the National Aquatic Germplasm Resource Conservation Zone for unique fish in the middle and upper reaches of the Nu River. In order to minimize the impact of infrastructure construction on the ecological environment, the construction unit avoids the opposite mountain to reduce disturbance to the mountain and reduces the excavation area of earth and stone . In addition, during the construction process, the construction unit temporarily uses the land for planting flowers and grass, and uses vegetation protection on the slope to increase the green coverage of the project site and protect the ecological environment to the greatest extent.
After the opening of the bridge, Fugong County's circular traffic will be formed, which will greatly improve the travel conditions of local residents and lay a solid foundation for the realization of "poverty alleviation" in Nujiang Prefecture. Editor/Peng Xue
