With the global spread of the epidemic, many sea and air cargoes have accelerated their transfer to railway transportation, and the growth of China-Europe Express Express cannot keep up with the increase in demand. At 11:38 on November 17, 2020, 64 vehicles of electronic products and clothing and other goods departed from Manzhouli Railway Port Station on 3705 China-Europe Express trains to Koryadzic, Belarus.
So far, in 2020, the number of China-Europe Express trains in and out of Manzhouli Railway Port Station will reach 3,073. This is the first time that China-Europe Express trains have surpassed 3,000 trains in the year since they opened through Manzhouli.
It has been learned from the Manzhouli Railway Port Station that in recent years, the station has integrated into the One Belt One Road initiative and promoted the rapid growth of China-Europe freight trains. The number of trains opened in 2018 was 1,191, and the number of trains opened in 2019 was 2,254. Since 2020, the station has increased the speed of reloading and dispatching return trains, and the current return heavy container rate has reached more than 90%.
The Manzhouli Railway Port Station is an important node for trade with Europe and Asia. At present, there are 53 China-Europe Express Lines passing through the station. The main cargo collection points include 60 cities including Suzhou, Tianjin, Wuhan, Changsha, and Guangzhou. Outbound trains arrive in 13 European countries including Russia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. The export destinations are 28 cities including Moscow, Warsaw, Malasevic, Kuntsovo, Yekaterinburg and Volsino.
The new crown pneumonia epidemic is still spreading around the world. The China-Europe Express trains are not afraid at all. Instead, they continue to increase and speed up shifts, open up new transportation channels, and are loaded with loving relief supplies, and join hands with countries around the world to fight the epidemic.
