The Oman Industrial Zone Public Agency (Madayn) announced that its board of directors has approved the new project in Sur Industrial City. These projects include the establishment of an integrated labor township by the private sector to strengthen the services provided and improve the business environment of the Sur Industrial City. A statement from Madden said that the board of directors also approved the launch of a shipyard project, which will also build a factory for modern fishing vessels, as well as ship repair facilities and repair centers and other related services.

These announcements were made at the fourth meeting of the year. The meeting was organized by the Deputy Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Madan. 2021 Sisalih bin Said Ma Dr. Sang presided over. The statement said that all these efforts by Madon will help to play a key role in creating an attractive environment for promising projects in the Sudanese fisheries sector. The report also said that by the end of 2020, the total investment in Suhl Industrial City has reached 3.88 billion US dollars. The announced incentives are part of Madam’s efforts to mitigate the economic consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic and the decline in global oil prices.
